I know, how can you miss me if don’t go away?
More like “feast or famine.” I don’t blog for months, and now I’m back at it with a vengeance.
Progress over perfection, people. Progress over perfection
ANYWAY….I’ve had a lot of folks tell me that they LOVED the book, and many of them have left a review on Amazon or Barnes and Noble.
If you are one of these people, THANK YOU! Engaging the amazon algorithm is no small feat, and the more reviews on there, the more exposure the book gets.
For those of you who may be a little gun-shy, tech-shy, or simply have never left a review a day in your life. TODAY IS THE DAY TO DO IT!
As usual, I’m here to make it as easy as possible. I’m offering step-by-step instructions on how to leave a book review on Amazon and B&N.
How to Submit a Review on Amazon
Go to the product detail page for the book. (If you've placed an order for the item, you can also go to Your Orders.)
Scroll down to Customer Reviews (Yes, this takes a bit; try not to get distracted by all the other things on your way there…this is how you end up with an alpaca on your doorstep) [insert photo]
Click Write a customer review in the Customer Reviews section.
Select a Star Rating.
Write your headline and your review.
If you sent me a text or email, you can LITERALLY COPY AND PASTE the same wording into the review section.
Optional: Add photos of you with the book, or, if you are particularly ambitious, a video testimonial
Click Submit.
How to Submit a Review on Barnes and Noble
Go to the product detail page for the book. (If you've placed an order for the item, you can also go to Your Orders.)
Scroll down to Customer Reviews [insert photo]
Click Write a review.
Select a Star Rating. ...AND
Write your headline and your review.
If you sent me a text or email telling me how much you loved the book, you can LITERALLY COPY AND PASTE the same wording into the review section.
Optional: Add photos of you with the book, or, if you are particularly ambitious, a video testimonial.
Click Submit.
It can take a little time for it to show up, but remember, all good things come to those who wait. ;-)
