Witness the Marketing Ecosystem in Action

Last week I fessed up that while I’m not a real-life gardener, I’m a master at creating and cultivating content.

This week, I’m sharing a real-life example, Jennifer Priest Mitchell, whom I met when I spoke at a humor writer’s group earlier this summer.

Jennifer is a prolific essayist with an impressive portfolio of publications in numerous magazines and journals. Most notably, her work has graced the pages of not one, but two Chicken Soup for the Soul editions.

Jennifer has been crafting a collection of essays for publication and recognized the crucial need for an author website to establish her online presence in the literary realm.

We worked in conjunction with my biz bestie, Liz August, of Simplify, Simplify, and created a wonderful website that will serve as online “street cred” for Jennifer when she pitches literary agents and publishers, which you can have a gander at here.

But the story doesn’t end there. While website copy was the gate of entry for Jennifer, we continued down the garden path and worked on some other writing endeavors.

Through private writing coaching in the Book Idea Incubator, Jennifer has curated a collection of essays for an upcoming book AND developed a six-month content calendar for newsletters for her email subscribers!

I couldn’t be more excited for Jennifer and invite you to visit her site and, more importantly, SUBSCRIBE to her newsletter so you can stay up-to-date on her writing journey!

P.S. As the saying goes, nothing can operate in a silo, and the same is true of YOUR marketing ecosystem — it isn’t just about these separate elements; it’s about how they all come together to create a thriving landscape.

Like Jennifer, you can enter the ecosystem through any one of these portals — your website, newsletters, blogs, or email sequences — and gradually incorporate all of them into your marketing strategy.

I get it — the idea of this whole ecosystem can feel overwhelming at first. But as I like to say, “You have to start small to get big.”

Your first small step?
Book a Discovery Call. That’s where we look at YOUR landscape and figure out what port of entry makes the most sense for YOU.
