Welcome to Judi411—where plain talk, strong copy, and zero fluff meet in one tidy corner of the internet.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of this website and anything you read, download, or interact with on www.judi411.com (the “Site”). If you’re here, thank you. If you decide to stay, read this. By using this Site, you agree to play by these rules. If not, no hard feelings—close the tab and move on.

1. Who Runs This Show

This Site is operated by Judi Harrington (that’s me), your writing coach, copy whisperer, and teller of inconvenient truths. This site offers tools, advice, writing services, downloads, blog posts, and the occasional reality check. My mission? Help you write like you mean it and own your voice in the process.

2. What You Can and Can’t Do With My Stuff

All content on this site—words, PDFs, blog posts, downloads, and everything else I create—is owned by me unless otherwise noted. That includes the clever lines, the lovingly crafted blog posts, and the free resources.

You may:

  • Read, enjoy, and share content with proper credit.

     

  • Use free downloads for personal or internal business use.

     

You may not:

  • Copy, resell, republish, or claim it as your own.

     

  • Swipe copy from my services page for your business (people try it, I notice).

     

  • Edit my content and pass it off as original work.

     

  • Use anything here in a way that breaks the law or disrespects the work.

     

And as a recovering former paralegal, I also have no problem taking legal action. I literally write for lawyers. Try me.

3. Community Rules (AKA: Don’t Be a Jerk)

You agree not to use this Site to:

  • Post spam or malicious code

     

  • Harass, threaten, or troll others

     

  • Violate any laws, rules, or decency standards

     

Be a good human. Respect this space and the people in it.

4. No Guarantees, Especially About Results

Let me be clear: Great copy—or even great coaching—doesn’t guarantee conversions, sales, virality, or any other metric you’re chasing.

I bring deep experience, a sharp pen, and strategy built from years of working with real people and real businesses. But I don’t—and won’t—guarantee:

  • Sales
  • Leads
  • Media coverage
  • SEO performance
  • Audience growth
  • That your Aunt Rita will finally get what you do
  • That your book will be finished in a specific time period
  • That an agent will pick up your manuscript
  • That your self-published book will be an Amazon #1 Bestseller or
    or that you’ll land fame and fortune on the New York Times Bestsellers List (which I have very strong opinions about—and you’ll have to schedule paid consult time to hear them)

Too many factors are outside my control—your offer, timing, pricing, platform, delivery, audience, market—and I won’t pretend otherwise.

What I do promise: I’ll show up, write or coach with intention, and give you my absolute best thinking.

5. Payments, Services, and Client Work

If you work with me—whether for writing, coaching, editing, or a custom project—there will be a separate agreement that outlines the scope, deliverables, payment terms, and other fine print.

To be clear:

  • Payment is due upfront or on the agreed schedule.

     

  • Late payments may result in added fees or delayed work.

     

  • No refunds on digital products, downloads, or completed services unless otherwise specified.

     

If you disappear after hiring me, that’s on you. If I disappear? It’s literally never happened, but if it does, I’ll fix it.

6. Outside Links (a.k.a. The Exit Ramp)

This Site may link to other websites or resources. I’m not responsible for their content, practices, or sketchy pop-ups. Click at your own risk.

7. Privacy + Data

I don’t sell your info or share it with third parties. I also won’t fill your inbox with things you didn’t ask for. For details on what gets collected and how it’s used, see the Privacy Policy.

8. Liability Limbo

To the fullest extent allowed by law, I’m not responsible for damages, losses, headaches, or broken dreams that result from using this Site. You use this space at your own risk and with your grown-up pants on. 

9. Terms Can Change

These Terms may be updated periodically. If I make changes, I’ll update the effective date at the top. Keep an eye out. By continuing to use the Site, you accept the new version—even if you don’t read it (but really, you should).
